I just staretd blogging, and came upon your blog. I was only able to read about 2 posts, but alot of the stuff you write about ring a bell from stories I’ve heard from a few friends of mine.

Hi Tasha, I’ve nominated you for a Beautiful Blogger Award. You can choose to participate or not. It’s up to you. To read more about it, you can go to my post: http://tfaswift.wordpress.com/2012/10/13/beautiful-blogger-award/ and find directions, as well as a list of other bloggers I’ve nominated. 🙂

Thank you so much for thinking of me! Congrats on your own nomination! I have seen this award floating around other blogs on wordpress. I’ll think about it. But, i think I’ll just support on the sidelines. This doesn’t feel like my type of award… more like networking i think in having to nominate so many other blogs. I think I would just do a ” shout out” post thanking the blogs I love and follow. Much more personal and meaningful.

Sure I understand. It is a bit of a “chain mail” type thing, but I was kind of happy to have the opportunity to name some other blogs which get very little attention (not yours), and I think they deserve to be read. Like the first one on my list is for a spiritual woman who has over 20 followers, and she did a post back in August called Invitation to Conversation, or something like that, asking 13 questions about people’s beliefs and whether or not they believe in past lives, among other things. She asked for people to choose one question from the list and answer it to try to get a conversation rolling. Not one of her followers answered a single question. I thought that was really sad. There were no replies at all since back in August! So me and my husband both went and answered all 13 questions for her. She was really touched by that, and even though she’s Christian (I think) and my husband is Muslim, she was extremely gracious and friendly to him and just happy to have somebody leave feedback. She’s interested to hear about people’s beliefs, whatever they are, but nobody else answered a single question. So I guess I was happy to mention her blog and a few others that are being written by nice people and getting very little feedback or likes. Anyway, thanks very much for “liking” my post! 🙂

Hi Tasha, I can’t find a way to email you privately. I’m really sorry that I lost your comment. I had to delete that post completely and make a new one. I have a reason but can’t say it in public. Really sorry. Hope you can forgive me. It’s nothing to do with you – it’s somebody else. 😦

That’s okay! I was going to re-comment later one when i have time ( getting ready for a job interview right now) but you went ahead and found a transcript of it.
I left a comment on your post with my email 🙂

      • tfaswift says :

Oh I’m so relieved. I thought you were angry with me. I didn’t “unapprove” your comment, I just had to re-do the whole post. GOOD LUCK with your interview!! I know it’s not your dream job, but hopefully that will just make you feel nice and relaxed at the interview instead of nervous. They’d be crazy not to hire you. 🙂 xx

Hey dude, what kind of wordpress theme have been you using?
i want it to use on my blog too “

    • dietriotgirl says :

Hey, I actually use one of free theme’s word press offers. It’s name is “Skeptical”. So the layout of the entries and comments and widgets follow that theme. However, I found a picture online and used the image as a background. I just uploaded the image and tiled it. Hope that helps. I”m not very tech savvy so that’s the extent of my graphic designing.
